What does it mean to be a dad today?

Father’s Day. A day to celebrate Dads across the world by bonding over a campfire, fishing for dinner, all whilst renovating a classic car. Right? Maybe not. 

This year, with our partners at The Glenlivet, we conducted a social experiment to understand what AI would do if it was asked to write an ad about whisky and Father’s Day. Needless to say, it didn’t quite hit the mark; the script AI wrote was full of stereotypes.

We then asked real fathers and their children to come in and audition for the script, without revealing its author. Their reactions said it all – being a dad is so much more than the outdated conventions presented in the script.

This campaign is the next step on our journey to break stereotypes around whisky drinkers.
